Tottenham want Adriano

Harry Redknapp wants more firepower and is ready to pull off a dramatic coup by bringing Inter Milan striker Adriano to White Hart Lane, according to The Sun.
The Tottenham manager is still looking to bolster his attacking options despite Jermain Defoe's return from Portsmouth.
Redknapp flew to Italy last night to watch the Brazilian hitman play against Genoa in Coppa Italia.
Adriano's future at the San Siro remains unclear after boss José Mourinho hit out at the out-of-favour striker over his alleged lack of commitment towards the cause.
The 26-year-old missed Inter’s first training session following the winter break after returning late from holiday in Brazil.
Mourinho may now be willing to sell the player for £15 million but only to a foreign club.
If a permanent deal cannot be agreed, Adriano could sign for Spurs on an initial loan deal.
Maradona advises Tévez and Agüero go to Inter Milan

Argentina coach Diego Maradona has surprisingly recommended Carlos Tévez and Sergio Agüero to join Inter Milan.
Tévez has fallen down the pecking order at Manchester United this season and didn't play in United's 3-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday while his contract is up at the end of the season.
El Diego watched the match and was concerned that one of his key strikers did not play a part.
"I saw Manchester United win without Tévez. This isn't good for him," Maradona told Corriere dello Sport.
"Certain episodes are certainly bringing closer his exit. Italy and Inter in particular would be excellent solutions.
"What's more, his contract is running out, which makes it easier to change team."
Maradona also suggested that Atlético Madrid striker Agüero, who is dating Maradona's daughter Giannina, should consider a move to Inter.
He said: "What advice would I give him? To come running to Inter. I can already imagine the extraordinary partnership he'd form with (Zlatan) Ibrahimović."
Man City offer £175m for Kaká

Manchester City have launched a stunning £175 million bid in order to land AC Milan ace Kaká.
According to The Sun, City chief executive Garry Cook and deal broker Kia Joorabchian last night met Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani to offer the mega bid.
Milan would pocket £100 million and Kaká almost £75 million for a five-year deal worth £15 million a season.
But Galliani told the City delegation: "We would not consider selling Kaká for £100 million — it would have to be an obscene amount more."
The Italian giants have never sold any of their superstars but admit they have been shocked by the world-record bid. Milan have twice in the past rejected megabucks offers from Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old star has been linked with a switch to Eastlands ever since the Abu Dhabi United Group took control at City and immediately made bold exclamations with regards transfer policy.
City's new owners proved they have the financial muscle by signing Robinho from Real Madrid in the summer in a £32.5 million deal.
In November, Kaká admitted that playing in the Premier League was an ambition he hoped to realise at some stage in his playing career, while at the same time accepting a Milan exit would be difficult.
Ronaldo lands FIFA award
- Ronaldo lands FIFA award
Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has been named FIFA's world player of the year.
The 23-year-old Portugal international is the Premier League's first winner of the award after finishing ahead of runner-up Lionel Messi of Barcelona, with Liverpool striker Fernando Torres third.
Ronaldo, whose 42 goals in all competitions last season helped United win the Premier League and Champions League titles, collected the award from Brazil legend Pele at a star-studded ceremony in Zurich.
The winger has also been crowed FIFPro's player of the year and Europe's top player after winning the Ballon d'Or in recent months, but after his latest accolade was quick to pay tribute to United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
"It is an overwhelming moment, it is a dream come true and I would like to dedicate this to my family," he said.
"I'm extremely happy, it's one of the most important moments in my life and I hope I can come back here again.
"After what I did in 2008, to receive this award is amazing and I feel very proud of this achievement.
"But it's also true that the manager always has an important role to play.
"It was a great season for me and for my club and the coach was important for me because I learned a lot for him.
"His experience over so many years is of paramount importance and it's a privilege to have such a great club manager.
"This is the climax of a fantastic era for me. I'm happy and proud about what has been done by my team and what we have won.
"I am lucky to be part of the history of a club like Manchester United."
